9th street Free Clinic

To provide a caring and safe place for individuals who are unable to afford primary healthcare.  Using volunteer professional staff, the purpose of the clinic is to provide basic primary care services while connecting each person with appropriate human service organizations.

Services offered: Basic out-patient care and chronic disease management, on-site pharmacy, basic lab workup, immunization, PPD skin test, and MA and UPMC FA application.  Referrals Healthy Woman program through Magee, Mon Youg mental health, free dental clinic in Braddock, Rx counsel, the $4 meds through stores like Giant Eagle, Walmart, and target, and more.

Birmingham Free Clinic

The Birmingham Free Clinic operates on a walk-in, first come/first served basis only. Please arrive 1 hour before the clinic’s start time as the clinic fills up very fast and must limit the number of patients without giving notice, depending on the number of volunteer doctors, nurses and pharmacists who are on staff that day.

-Interpreters for Spanish-speaking patients are now available at all sessions.

-*Tuesdays 1-4pm is a Nurse-Managed Clinic session. The NM can manage things like TB tests, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, cough and colds, basic wound care, etc. There is NOT a doctor on site during this session.

Community Health Clinic

The mission of the Community Health Clinic is to provide quality, affordable comprehensive primary healthcare services, across the lifecycles and regardless of the ability to pay, to all residence of the Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler and Westmoreland Counties.

A particular emphasis is placed on the low income, underserved, and uninsured populations.

Services are provided in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner without regard to gender, sexual orientation, religious preference, or physical ability.

North Side Christian Health Center

The North Side Christian Health Center (NSCHC) clinic was founded in 1993, as an anchor in Pittsburgh’s economically challenged and socially depressed Northside. In 2012 NSCHC provided comprehensive primary and preventive medical and dental care to approximately 5,500 patients.

Motivated to live our Christian principles, the mission of the North Side Christian Health Center is to provide whole-person primary health care to underserved persons on the Northside and surrounding neighborhoods.
