The Birmingham Free Clinic operates on a walk-in, first come/first served basis only. Please arrive 1 hour before the clinic’s start time as the clinic fills up very fast and must limit the number of patients without giving notice, depending on the number of volunteer doctors, nurses and pharmacists who are on staff that day.

-Interpreters for Spanish-speaking patients are now available at all sessions.

-*Tuesdays 1-4pm is a Nurse-Managed Clinic session. The NM can manage things like TB tests, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, cough and colds, basic wound care, etc. There is NOT a doctor on site during this session.



The mission of the CHC is to provide quality, affordable comprehensive primary dental services, regardless of the ability to pay, to all residence of the Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler and Westmoreland Counties.

A particular emphasis is placed on the low income, underserved, and uninsured populations.

Services are provided in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner without regard to gender, sexual orientation, religious preference, or physical ability.

The Donated Dental Services (DDS) program provides free, comprehensive dental treatment to our country’s most vulnerable people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile. These are people who cannot afford necessary treatment and cannot get public aid. The program operates through a volunteer network of more than 15,000 dentists and 3,600 dental labs across the United States. Since its inception in 1985, the DDS program has transformed the lives of more than 120,000 people.
