ABOUT SHEEP INC. HEALTH CARE CENTER

The Sheep Inc. Health Care Center is a tax-exempt organization based in Penn Hills and Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

As a faith-based, free medical center, our mission is show Christ's love and compassion by providing quality health care for the uninsured and their families. We exist to serve the unemployed and low-income working community who can't afford private health insurance.

Our dedicated staff of volunteer doctors, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, specialists, and more provides care to the underserved in Allegheny County and the surrounding counties of Westmoreland, Washington, Fayette, Indiana, Butler, and Armstrong. Our 140+ volunteers include many non-medical staff, all of whom donate their time to serve patients who come to the clinic.

Please note that Sheep Inc. Health Care Center is not an emergency facility, and we can provide services only to those who have no form of insurance.

OUR PLAN

Basic healthcare for people who fall through the cracks of our current system can be provided through partnerships with local care providers who offer simple tests at no cost. Patients will be supported in making informed decisions about their care and encouraged to take an active role in their own health.

Dr. Beasley is a board certified family physician in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is affiliated with Forbes Regional Hospital. He received his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice for 30+ years.

He brings decades of experience from both military and civilian medicine, always striving to reflect Christ's love through healing. Currently, he serves as Chief Medical Officer at Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization and practices urgent care medicine. He has led transformative healthcare initiatives focused on access, quality, and patient-centered care. Dr. Carney is a decorated veteran board-certified Family Medicine physician with a Surgical Obstetrics Fellowship. His work is guided by faith, purpose, and a deep commitment to serving others. He sees each patient encounter as an opportunity to extend grace, dignity, and hope.

Previously associated with Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning and Indiana Hospital.

She specializes in conservative care for osteoarthritis and rotator cuff injuries, promoting independence in older adults, and encouraging active lifestyles. As Director of Clinical Education and Associate Professor at Seton Hill University's DPT program, she oversees clinical placements and teaches geriatrics. Her research focuses on student professionalism and fall prevention in older adults. Dr. Coates holds a DPT from Duquesne University and a Gerontology certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. She also supervises a wellness program at Disabilities Options Network and volunteers annually on medical missions to the Dominican Republic and Peru.

With advanced training in neurological, orthopedic, and psychiatric rehabilitation, she is able to help the clients engage in the occupations they find meaningful, learn how to manage pain, and learn how to balance daily demands to create a fulfilling life. Her broad experience in health care enables her to interact effectively with the other Sheep, Inc. team members to meet clients' needs and advance organizational goals.
