Donation Policy

Donation Policy:
Sheep Inc. Health Care Center (SIHCC) is a non-profit organization as defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and its operating budget is comprised mostly of financial contributions, donations, and gifts. Accordingly, donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by the law in your particular jurisdiction. Individuals outside of the United States may not be entitled to a tax deduction for gifts to Sheep Inc. Health Care Center. Please consult your personal advisers on all legal, tax, or financial issues related to your gift or personal matters. Nothing contained on this website or in any of its documents, attachments, or links: (a)should be considered legal, tax, or financial advice, and (b) is intended or written to be used, and cannot be used for the purpose of avoiding tax-related penalties. Contributions are solicited with the understanding that Sheep Inc. Health Care Center has complete control over the use of all donated funds.
Fundraising/Receipt Policy:
1) Funds shall be solicited in a respectful manner and without pressure.
2) Donor designated restrictions on contributions shall be honored to the fullest extent possible so long as they are consistent with SIHCC goals and values.
3) Sheep Inc. Health Care Center (SIHCC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and contributions made to the organization are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
4) Written tax receipts shall be issued for all donations. If the donor receives anything in exchange for their donation, such as a dinner or event admission, the tax receipt shall clearly state what portion of the donation is tax deductible.
