Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters,
Toni was a young man in his twenties who was constantly exhausted, made frequent trips to the bathroom, and felt increasingly unwell. His legs were so swollen and painful that standing and walking became difficult. Concerned for his health, Toni went to his local clinic seeking help—only to be turned away because he did not have health insurance and could not afford to pay out of pocket.
With no clear path forward, Toni found himself facing an impossible choice. The cost of coverage through the Affordable Care Act was out of reach due to high deductibles, and seeking care through an emergency room risked crushing medical debt. What Toni did not yet know was that he was critically ill and his condition was life-threatening.
Toni eventually found care at Sheep Inc. Health Care Center, where he received comprehensive medical services at no cost. Through thorough evaluation and continued support, he was diagnosed with uncontrolled diabetes and kidney failure—conditions that ultimately led to a life-saving kidney transplant. Because of timely intervention and compassionate care, Toni’s story has a hopeful outcome.
His story is just one of many, and it is only possible because of the generosity of people like you. For every $1 donated, we provide $3–$4 in free medical care. This remarkable impact is made possible by our dedicated volunteers, who give their time, expertise, and compassion to serve others.
Sheep Inc. Health Care Center opened its doors in November 2010 with only a handful of volunteers committed to caring for uninsured individuals in need. Today, our volunteer staff comprises more than 140 people, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, pharmacists, chaplains, and non-medical personnel who consistently go above and beyond to care for our patients.
As the number of patients we serve each week continues to grow, so do the costs of medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic testing that we provide at no charge. We cannot meet this growing need without your support.
We humbly ask you to consider making a financial donation to help us continue providing free medical care to those who cannot afford it. Any amount is deeply appreciated, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Thank you for being part of this mission and for helping us offer hope, healing, and dignity to those who need it most.
Sincerely,
Dr. Robert Beasley, DO
